What the extension processes

The extension reads Genspark conversation content from pages you open in your browser when you initiate an export. This can include chat messages, prompts, AI responses, links, images, and file references shown on the Genspark page.

What stays local

Conversation content is exported to local markdown/ZIP files on your device. Chat content is not uploaded to our servers.

For clarity, the extension processes chat messages and page content locally only when you start an export. We do not collect, store, sell, or review your exported Genspark chat content on a server.

Network requests

• Optional asset downloads from HTTPS *.genspark.ai URLs referenced in the conversation (Pro only).
• License validation requests to https://gensparktools.netlify.app for Pro licensing.
• Stripe checkout and payment-status requests for Pro purchases and license fulfillment.

Payment and license data

Pro purchases are processed by Stripe. The license service stores payment and license metadata such as email address, Stripe customer/session/subscription identifiers, plan, license status, anonymous tester install binding when applicable, and a hashed license key. The service does not store your exported Genspark chats.

• daily free-tier export counters
• checkout URL settings

Chrome Web Store data categories

Chrome Web Store privacy categories are disclosed because the extension handles this data to provide local export and Pro licensing. Local chat processing does not mean chat content is uploaded to us.

• Personally identifiable information: optional license email for reviewer/tester keys and Stripe customer/license records for Pro purchases.
• Financial and payment information: Stripe payment and subscription metadata used to issue and maintain Pro licenses. The extension does not collect credit card numbers.
• Authentication information: Pro license key, optional reviewer/tester license email, and anonymous install ID.
• Personal communications: Genspark chat messages processed for local export.
• Website content: text, links, images, files, and other page content from the Genspark conversation being exported.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell conversation data or share exported chat content with third parties. Pro license validation sends license metadata to the validation endpoint; it does not send chat content. Stripe receives payment information needed to process Pro purchases.
